All Corvallis Little League parents & friends are invited to attend the Annual Meeting, including Election of Officers. There are several open positions, including President In Training, Secretary, and Information Officer In Training . Please contact Mary Arnold ( alpata@juno.com 231-4961) or the contact person listed for each position to express your interest or ask questions about a position. Routine business will also be held. Let Mary know if you'd like an agenda. Below are brief descriptions of the open positions. We look forward to seeing you there!
In compliance with District 7, Corvallis Little League is now required to collect $1 from members wishing to vote at the Annual Meeting. If possible but not required, let us know in advance if you will be attending by contacting Mary or Russ.
President In Training
· This position is to train a successor for the current President, Mary Arnold to be ready for the 2009/2010 Little League Fiscal Year
· The President is responsible for the smooth running of Corvallis Little League by ensuring that all roles are filled and functioning. She/He schedules and runs Board meetings, attends District meetings in Salem , and ensures timely completion of paperwork as required by District and Little League International.

Secretary
· Works with the President and other Board members to ensure administrative requirements of District and Little League International are met.
· Includes leading attending, recording and documenting meeting board meeting outcomes.
· Leads the gathering, ordering, assembly and distribution of managers' books.

Information Office In Training
· This position is to train a successor for the current Information Officer, Russ Weaver, to be ready for the 2009/2010 Little League Fiscal Year
· The Info Officer is responsible for ensuring player registration is done in a timely and accurate manner. He/She generates reports to work with the Player Agents that assist with formation of teams, including # of teams needed at each level. Included is formatting and uploaded of player database as required by Little League International.
